How to apply our McLaren touch up paint

To begin the application process, start by wiping the area of damage clean to remove any wax or debris. This will ensure that the paint adheres properly. You can then proceed with the following steps:
If you’re repairing a deep scratch, chip, or area of road rash, you may need to repeat steps 1 and for the best results.

Using the microbrush provided, apply a thin layer of your custom-mixed McLaren car paint to the bodywork damage. Leave it to dry for up to five minutes.

Apply some of the blending solution using the paint removal cloth. This will create a seamless finish. Wait a few minutes for this to dry.

Buff the treated area to a shine. To do this, apply polish to the damaged area using the microfibre brush included in your kit. (Skip this step if using matte McLaren paint).
