Our kits are not suitable for cars that have been recently painted. With this in mind, you will need to wait at least one month before using our Renault car paint repair kit. This is because the original car paint needs time to cure before adding more paint.

If you make a mistake using your touch up paint kit, simply remove any excess paint or smudges by applying our blending solution.

Can I use the Renault paint kit for large and deep car chips?

Absolutely! Simply repeat steps one and two until the paint is level with the chip. You may have to repeat the process multiple times, ensuring adequate drying time between each layer.

Does this Renault touch up paint kit include clear coat?

All of our paint formulations include a patented lacquer within the formula. This is to protect your vehicle against rust, corrosion, and future damage. As such, there’s no need to apply an extra layer of clear coat.

How do I know if I need to add primer before applying my Renault touch up paint?

If the scratch, chip, or scuff is light and doesn’t go through to the substrate, you’ll get great coverage and an even repair. However, if the damage is extensive and penetrates through to the metal beneath, we recommend applying primer before using your Renault touch up paint.
