Is brown a good car colour?
Brown cars are fairly unusual — although, according to statistics, they are more popular than orange, purple, and gold vehicles. They offer a neutral and earthy aesthetic and tend to hold their value well.

Expert paint repairs in three easy steps
We’ve designed our paint touch-up kits to provide professional-grade repairs at home. The process is fast and effective, so you can eliminate chips, road rash, and scratches without expensive bodyshop bills.
Prepare the damaged area
First, clean the area around the scuff, scratch, or chip. Removing dirt, polish, wax, and any other build-up will help the paint adhere for longer-lasting results.
1. Apply your brown car paint
Apply your brown car paint using the brush supplied in your kit. If you’re treating minor road rash, you may find it easiest to apply the paint with your finger (remember to wear your protective gloves). Leave the paint until it is touch-dry — usually up to five minutes.
2. Blend the paint
The premium blending solution in your kit is the key to a seamless repair. Add a small amount to the paint removal cloth and rub it gently over the treated area. This removes excess products and blends the touch-up paint with the existing paintwork. Once applied, leave it to dry for a few minutes.
3. Polish to restore shine*
*Note: This step isn’t suitable for matte brown car paint.
To give your touch-up paint a gleaming finish that matches the rest of your vehicle, use the polish from your Chipex kit. Apply it using the microfiber cloth, wait for the product to dry to an opaque hue, then buff away the excess.
