How to apply Chipex™ touch up paint

Prepare the affected area
Start by cleaning the area around the scratch, chip, or damage. Removing any dirt, polish, wax, and other buildup will make sure your green car paint adheres properly.
1. Apply your green car paint
Use the brush from your repair kit to apply your custom-mixed paint. If you’re treating an area of minor road rash, you can use a gloved finger if you prefer. Leave the paint for up to five minutes, until it is touch-dry.
2. Add the blending solution
Remove excess paint and create a seamless repair by applying the blending solution. Add a small amount to your paint removal cloth and gently rub it over the painted area. Let it dry for a few minutes.
3. Polish to restore shine*
*Note: Omit this step if you are using matte green car paint.
Use the supplied polish to restore shine to the repaired scuff or scratch. Add the polish to your microfibre cloth and apply it to the treated area. Wait until the product has dried to an opaque hue, then buff away the excess.
