Is orange a rare car colour?
Along with yellow, gold, and brown, orange is considered one of the rarest vehicle colours — perfect for motorists who want to stand out.
As well as being a versatile colour that’s available in a wide array of shades and hues, orange can boost your car’s visibility in the daytime and at night. This makes it a great colour choice if you’re concerned about safety when driving.

Three steps to flawless orange paint repairs
From scuffs and scrapes to chips and road rash, make paint damage a thing of the past with our easy-to-use touch-up kits. Follow these three simple steps and enjoy fast, seamless paint restoration.
Prepare the damaged area
First, make sure the surface around the scratch or damage is free from polish, wax, and any dirt or other buildup. This will help the paint adhere properly.
1. Apply your orange car paint
Apply your custom-mixed paint to the damaged area. We recommend using the brush from your Chipex kit; however, a gloved finger is also an option when dealing with minor road rash. Once applied, leave the paint for up to five minutes until it is touch-dry.
2. Add the blending solution
Next, apply a small amount of blending solution to your paint removal cloth and then gently rub it over the painted area. This will remove any excess paint and create a seamless transition between the repair and your vehicle’s original paint.
Leave it to dry for a few minutes.
3. Polish to restore shine*
*Note: Don’t carry out this step if your vehicle features matte orange paint.
To restore shine to the repaired area, apply the polish from your kit, using microfibre cloth. Wait until it has dried to an opaque hue and then buff away the excess.
