Apply Chipex white touch-up paint in 3 simple steps
We believe getting a great finish on your paintwork repair should be easy and affordable. Our white touch-up kits are here to make that happen.
Once you have the perfect white touch-up paint for your car, you can eliminate scuffs, scrapes, and chips without the garage price tag.
Prepare the damaged area
Clean the affected area thoroughly, removing any wax or polish — these finishes can affect how well the touch-up paint adheres.
1. Apply your white touch‑up paint
Apply your Chipex repair paint to the damaged area using the application brush from your kit and let it dry for up to 5 minutes. You may be able to apply the paint with a gloved finger if the damage is minor road rash.
2. Remove excess with the blending solution
Once the paint is touch-dry, it’s time for the blending solution. Add a small amount to the supplied paint removal cloth, then rub it gently over the painted area. This will remove any excess paint for a seamless blend. Let this dry for a few minutes.
3. Polish to restore shine*
*Note: Do not carry out this step on matte white car paint.
Finally, apply a small amount of finishing polish to your microfiber cloth. Rub this over the treated area and wait until it has dried to an opaque hue.
Use the cloth to buff the polish away and restore your white car’s shine.
